Flex and Flash workflow...

Samuel Rivello has got a eSeminar at Adobe.com for using Flex and Flash together during development. I really like the concept of using Flash for creating assets and layouts, then taking into Flex for coding. There seems to be a lot of benefit in being able to use this workflow, keeping a stronger separation between code and visuals assets.

Adobe AIR new logo




The Flash Blog and Mike Chambers are announcing the new Adobe AIR logo.

This is kind of a pull from Adobe's current line of iconography, but I think because of the platform nature of AIR, it's understandable why the didn't follow their current conventions.

NYTimes Lobby Installation


Artist Ben Rubin and UCLA professor/statistician Mark Hansen created this ill installation in the NYTimes Lobby. They put 560 screens pulling random data from the Times then displaying it via certain themes. For example one theme pulls random letters to the editor.
